Game Testing
Lets take a look at how these headphones do for someone who would like to do some PC gaming.
Testing was done using a desktop PC while the E461’s were being driven by an Asus Xonar DX sound card.

For this review I thought I would mix things up a bit compared to previous reviews and test a couple of games I have been playing quite a bit as of late.
Battlefield 3
Battlefield 3 is easily one of the best sounding games I have ever heard. From someone running up behind you to bullets cracking over your head the sound is top-notch and makes testing headphones a pleasure. This is no different with the E461-BM set. They are clear across all ranges. Again, sound becomes muffled and fuzzy at high volumes which can be expected on a pair such as this. Overall, Battlefield 3 was a pleasurable experience with the E461s.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
A big huge immersive world is a great way to describe skyrim, the sound in the game is quite immersive as well. The music in Skyrim comes in crisp and clear, it feels like these headphones are made for the music in Skyrim. They sound absolutely fantastic, much more so than any other test up to now.
