Its big, its bold, its wireless and it has a striking design. These are the first impressions that you will get. Put them on, the ROG Strix Wireless delivers exceptional game sounds but at a cost. No, I don’t mean that they retail for around HKD$1200, but that of the headset being heavy.
Through all the gaming headset reviews that I done, the ROG Strix Wireless’ sound quality is right up there with the best, but the downside is just how big and heavy it is. I just can’t see myself wearing them for more than 30 minutes at a time. Sure, the HyperX gaming headset that I normally use does give me slightly inferior sound quality, but they’re a fraction of the weight and I can wear them for hours.
