Based on or findings, the Lexar NM1090 PRO uses a 6nm Silicon Motion (SMI) SM2508 SSD controller that can reduce overall temperatures by up 38%. It offers a Sequential read speed of up to 14,00MB/s, and a sequential write speed of up to 13,000MB/s.
The SSD comes with a 2GB of DRAM Cache and SLC Dynamic cache, which can help enhance data transfer speeds and reduce wait times. What’s more, you also get an impressive 5-year warranty!
Installation
No issues with installation. The good about the Lexar NM1090 PRO, is that it doesn’t come with any heatsink … so this means you have to use the M.2 heat shield that comes with the motherboard.
