AIDA64 Disk Information

As you can see from AIDA64 disk information, the MSI Gaming SPATIUM M570 PRO uses the Phison E26 SSD controller, and supports both NVMe 2.0 and PCIE Gen5 standards. It shows a total of 1863MB unformatted capacity, which sounds about right for a 2TB drive.

You’ll can also see that it uses Micron 232-layer 3D TLC NAND chips, and 4GB of DRAM cache (buffer).

Load Temps

Full load temperatures reached a high 59 degree Celsius, which is very good. This all thanks to MSI’s FROZR passive thermal cooling solution which features triple core heatpipes, elevated heatsinks, and a well-routed design for optimal cooling performance.

CrystalDiskMark

CrystalDiskMark is a disk benchmark software. It measure sequential reads/writes speed, measure random 512KB, 4KB, 4KB (Queue Depth=32) reads/writes speed, select test data (Random, 0Fill, 1Fill), provide theme support and Multi-Language support.

During our CrystalDiskMark 16GB test we managed to get a Read speed of 12,129.90 MB/sec which is just shy of the advertised speed of 12,400 MB/sc. For Write speeds, it reached a high of 11,581.77 MB/sec, which is very impressive.

ATTO Disk Benchmark

ATTO has created a widely-accepted Disk Benchmark freeware software to help measure storage system performance. As one of the top tools utilized in the industry, Disk Benchmark identifies performance in hard drives, solid state drives, RAID arrays as well as the host connection to attached storage.

Anvil Storage

Anvil’s Storage Utilities is a powerful tool that was designed in order to provide you with a simple means of assessing the read and writer performance of your Solid State Drive or Hard Disk Drive.

In our Anvil tests, we managed to get a 4K QTD16 Read IOPS score of 273,770.81. While 4K QTD16 write IOPS score was at 570,087.44, which is excellent.

PCMark 10 – Full System Drive Benchmark

The Full System Drive benchmark uses a wide-ranging set of real-world traces from popular applications and common tasks to fully test the performance of the fastest modern drives.

This benchmark writes 204 GB of data to the drive over the duration of the test. This data is deleted when the test ends.

To run this test, you need a minimum of 80 GB of free space on the drive, 8 GB of RAM, and a quad-core CPU.

3DMark 10 – Storage Benchmark

Fast storage means shorter loading times and more time in the game. The 3DMark Storage Benchmark is a dedicated component test for measuring the gaming performance of your storage hardware. Using traces recorded from real games, it tests performance for activities such as loading games, saving progress, installing game files, and recording gameplay video streams.

PassMark 11 Disk Test

Fast, easy to use, PC speed testing and benchmarking. PassMark PerformanceTest allows you to objectively benchmark a PC using a variety of different speed tests and compare the results to other computers.
