Patriot Viper VP4300 Lite 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD Review

Conclusion

DRAM-less SSDs are clearly underrated. Since Maxio controllers appeared on the market we could see a few options, but nothing was as good as the VP4300 Lite from Patriot.

The VP4300 Lite is fast, inexpensive, available at high capacities and runs cool so it’s perfect for every kind of computer. Additionally, it’s tested for full compatibility with PS5 consoles which are getting cheaper, so the demand for a good SSD raises.

There are faster SSD, but not much faster. There are cheaper SSD, but much slower. There are no SSD that run cooler. If we combine all the advantages, then it’s hard to find a better SSD for a daily usage or extended gaming sessions than VP4300 Lite. As long as I like some other SSD series, then this one has everything I need and nothing that cause issues during long work.

The Patriot Viper VP4300 Lite 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD costs around $99.99 in the Amazon online store. I bet you can find it even cheaper, but even at this price, there is clearly nothing better on the market.

Patriot gives a 5-year warranty for the VP4300 Lite series SSD, which confirms that the brand is sure of the high quality of its product. Not many SSD have such an extended warranty.

Final words:

The VP4300 Lite from Patriot is a well-designed SSD that combines all the best features for both gaming or standard use. It’s hard to find any disadvantages to this SSD, and the long list of advantages, makes it one of the best and the cheapest SSDs on the market right now.
