Conclusion
Toshiba TansMemory EX-II 64GB is a really good flash drive. We had no problems with compatibility or stability on couple of devices.
Performance is as high as manufacturer is declaring and even slightly higher. As I mentioned before, it may vary depends from used platform but at least on our test computer all was running as expected. In some tests we could see some write bandwidth drops but I wouldn’t worry about it as it won’t affect our daily work.
Toshiba TransMemory EX-II has nice looking design. Simple but classy and what’s more important it has solid aluminum body which is protecting our data.
One thing which I wasn’t expecting was encryption software. Simple to use but efficient is for sure good add-on to the fast, high capacity flash drive.
If all is perfect then always price could be lower. Also in this case we could count on lower price as 64GB TransMemory EX-II cost about $80. All who need lightning-fast and solid flash drive will probably find it reasonable but many users will look for a cheaper options .New products are always higher priced so I just hope that stores will lower price soon.
