The working temperature suggests that above 70°C is a throttling point. However, the SSD wasn’t throttling during tests, or it was so insignificant that test results were about the same after multiple test runs. The SSD was not passing 60°C with the included heatsink during mixed load tests which is close to what we can see while playing games. The graphene pad should still be enough for everything, while without any heatsink and any additional airflow, the SSD may pass 70°C during a long high load. Temperatures, in general, are a bit lower than on competitive SSD, while most respected brands add heatsinks or graphene pads to their gaming series PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The SSD supports all the latest technologies to improve stability, data protection, and performance. Our results confirm that the SSD is well-designed, and there shouldn’t be any issues during longer work.

The TWSG4S uses the Phison PS5018-E18-41 controller with is one of the fastest options on the current market. Our results confirm that the SSD is on top of the performance list, and depending on the test, is a bit above or below the best competitive SSD.

Below is a screenshot from the CrystalDiskInfo diagnostic software, which confirms that the SSD is in perfect condition. The screenshot was taken after some tests, while Zadak delivered it with 0TB written and 0 power-on counter. This is quite important as most SSD that we receive for reviews, have already a couple of TB written, even though are brand new in the retail package.

Now let’s take a look at the package and the SSD itself.
