Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus Edition Full Tower Chassis Review

Exterior

From the aesthetics to the dismantable modular system, everything about this chassis shouts “quality”. It’s no wonder the Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus Edition is marketed as their premium chassis.

To my surprise, the tempered glass panels come with magnetic corners, which is pretty neat as it holds the glass panel in place quite nicely. Notice the key/lock on both side panels. This is pretty handy, especially when you want to make sure that no one can get their dirty fingers inside the system. It also prevents the side panel from accidentally swinging out. Trust me, I’ve had this happen to me on more than one occasions.

For I/O, there are plenty on the chassis. On the right side, there’s one USB Type-C connector, 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0. while on the left, you’ll find the power on/off button, reset switch, mic-in and headphone audio out.

Interior

As you can see from the photos, there’s a ton of space inside the Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus Edition. It’s a Full Tower Chassis, which means you can fit motherboards up to EATX size.

Right away, you can see the two massive pre-installed 200mm Riing 20 Plus RGB fans at the front, with one Riing 14 Plus RGB fan at the back. The tempered glass side panels come off with ease, all you need to do is to carefully loosen the screws on the two hinges holding the glass panels to the chassis frame.

Inside the chassis, you’ll find the removable PSU cover, 2 cable management holes, a 2.5″ bracket for your SSD, as well as the removable 3.5″ HDD brackets.  As for the cabling for the chassis’s I/O panel, you get USB 3.0, power-on/off, reset, HD audio for mic and headphone.
