Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus Edition Full Tower Chassis Review

As you know, we’ve been looking for a chassis that’s worthy enough to be used in our PC project build for 2019 – Project Battle Angel Alita. And I think we’ve found just the case.

So in this review, we’ll be taking a quick look at the Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus Edition Chassis. The Level 20 GT RGB Plus is Thermaltakes’ premium full tower in the level 20 range that’s been specially designed and fitted with RGB Plus products. The chassis features four tempered glass panels with locking hinged doors, patented PCI-E slot design, removable power cover, and supports up to E-ATX motherboards.

It also comes pre-installed with 2 x Riing Plus 20 RGB in the front, and 1 x Riing Plus 14 RGB fan in the rear. The Voice Control software is compatible with Amazon Alexa, and the lighting effects can be synchronized with Razer Chroma using the TT RGB Plus software.

I’m sure many of you already know who Thermaltake is but in case you don’t here’s some info on the company.

Our Mission – Delivering the perfect user experience

Every myth starts out as a dream, and at the beginning of every legend is a desire. The challenging, creative and competitive features of the Thermaltake Group offer an exciting and fascinating user experience that can be shared by everyone, while allowing users to transcend themselves in terms of function and potential.

Thermaltake Group’s three main brands—Thermaltake, Tt eSPORTS and LUXA2—have been merchandising high-quality products throughout the world, successfully establishing firm footholds in six major markets, including Europe, America, Oceania, Japan and China, with 95 regional distributors and more than 4,000 premium retailers.

All product planning is governed by close observation of the global PC peripheral market, and by keen understanding of consumer demands. Thermaltake creates direct contact opportunities with resellers and consumers by participating in major global ICT exhibitions and trade shows every year, and by developing innovative marketing strategies for the promotion of new products. Meanwhile, Thermaltake has incorporated a composite marketing system by making branch offices and regional distributors both the distribution channel and the technical support or service center, thereby providing customers access to instant support. By maintaining close contact with end users, we have managed to strengthen our corporate competitiveness and create momentum for the kind of growth that generates major accomplishments.

I’m ok with tempered glass on a chassis, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. They can make the chassis really heavy, and you also get the added danger and risk of damaging or cracking the glass. However, having said that it does make the whole chassis look very beautiful.

We’ll be using this chassis in our up-coming PC Project build based on the Battle Angel Alita theme, and course we will be fitting a full complement of Thermaltake watercooling components including the pump+reservoir combo, radiator, the W5 CPU waterblock and the WaterRam RGB. But before all of this, we’ll just check out the chassis itself and install our motherboard to see how much room this chassis has.

You can buy the Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus Edition Full Tower Chassis for around USD $259 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/2U5neJa
