Conclusion and Verdict
Sapphire Radeon HD 7790 1GB DUAL-X is really good graphics card if we look at its price. It’s dedicated for gamers with lower budget and it fits perfectly to this market segment. Market price at the moment is about $140 what should convince many players to buy this product.
Sapphire Radeon HD 7790 modified standard PCB so card is longer but also has some improvements like rotated by 90 degrees power connectior which is easier to use in smaller cases.
There is also more effective non-reference cooling which is also quiet. HD7790 is not getting hot at least till we start overclocking but even then Sapphire’s cooling solution is good enough to keep safe temperature.
Now what is missing in this product. We can find everything needed for installation in the box with graphics card but most of the HD7790 also have added game(s). It’s not big issue but can be deciding factor for some customers.
Second thing is Sapphire’s software for overclocking. It works fine, but you can’t really adjust voltages like you do with other tools that’s available on the web.
