Project Core Arancio – Full Build Log, Installation & Benchmarks

Graphics Card – HIS Radeon RX480 Turbo

I would like to say a BIG thank you to HIS Digital for providing their Radeon RX 480 IceQ X² Roaring Turbo 8GB for our Project Core Arancio PC build.

Naturally, we did some minor modifications on the graphics card, and decided to match it with our color theme of orange and white – Funky Kit’s Project Core Arancio PC Build. We painted the both backplate and front cover white (with an orange strip at the top).  We also thought it would be good idea to paint those fan blades orange too 😛

The color selection may not be to everyone’s tastes … but it goes well with our website’s color theme, the end result was better than I expected.

Adata XPG Dazzle DDR4-2400  32GB Kit

To make the system a little flashier, we decided to use the some DDR4 ram with LEDs. Thanks to ADATA for sponsoring their XPG Dazzle DDR4-2400 (8Gbx4) 32GB kit.

A Closer Look

The memory modules features a LED strip on the top, and glows red with a pulsating pattern when the system is powered on. The modules look very attractive with its custom designed heatsinks … I only wished they had orange LEDs instead 😉

Installation is simple … just make sure you follow the instructions on your motherboard manual. The memory modules are usually installed on DDR4 memory slots labeled  A1, B1, C1 and D1.

The BIOS settings offer XMP 2.0 profiles  of DDR4-2400 with timings of 16-16-16-39 @ 1.2V. And there’s room to overclock these modules further.
