AOKZOE A1 Gaming Console will Feature 8-Core AMD Ryzen 7 7735U APU

This is probably one of the first handheld-PC console to use the new Ryzen 7000 series APU, and the specs look pretty decent too!

Taken from Videocardz … Early this year, AMD announced Ryzen 7035 series codenamed “Rembrandt-R”. As the name suggests, this is a refresh of the Ryzen 6000 series with the same underlying Zen3+ and RDNA2 architectures as last year’s chips. There are some minor changes to the clocks, however.

The A1 AR07 console has been spotted featuring Ryzen 7 7735U 8-core processor, which is nothing less than a refresh of Ryzen 7 6800U. This APU is commonly used by all popular premium consoles from companies such as OneXplayer, AYANEO or AOKZOE.

The Ryzen 7 7735U offers clocks speeds up to 4.75 GHz, so 50 MHz higher than 6800U, at least officially. According to Geekbench data, that clock speed goes to up to 4790 MHz, while A1 console with 6800U APU typically reached 4740 MHz.

This is thus far the first and only score featuring 7735U model, but the database has many entries featuring 6800U model as well. It looks like the company still has some fine tuning to do because one can easily find higher scores for the last year’s product.

Since the name of the product has not changed, gamers should not expect major changes to the design. This means that things like an 8-inch 1920×1200 screen or LPDDR5X-6400 memory could remain as they were.
