NVIDIA Releases GeForce Game Ready 576.88 WHQL Driver

NVIDIA has today released GeForce Game Ready 576.88 WHQL driver which brings support for the newly released GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card. There’s also Game Ready support for Mecha BREAK, Diablo IV Season 9 Update which adds DLSS 4 Multi-frame generation, and Monster Hunter Wilds DLSS 4 update. Here is more information below…

GeForce RTX 5050 Laptops are currently available at retailers worldwide, from $999. Head over to our GeForce RTX Laptop Product Finder, which populates as models arrive on-shelf, and as retail partners update their listings.

Starting in the second half of July, GeForce RTX 5050 graphics cards will arrive on store shelves. Starting at $249, stock-clocked and factory-overclocked models will be available from top add-in card providers such as ASUS, Colorful, Gainward, Galaxy, GIGABYTE, INNO3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, and ZOTAC. Additionally, they’ll be available in pre-built desktops from system builders and integrators.

Fixed Gaming Bugs

  • When enabling NVIDIA Smooth Motion in games, GPU video memory runs at slightly lower speed [5337348]
  • Cyberpunk 2077: Some notebooks will freeze when NVIDIA App Overlay is used when DLSS Frame Generation is enabled [5327306]

Fixed General Bugs

  • Black screen when installing drivers on some AMD Ryzen configurations [5107271]
  • Black screen when switching between 480 Hz and 360 z on Sony SDM-27Q10S monitor [5335399]

Known Issues

  • Cyberpunk 2077 will crash when using Photo Mode to take a screenshot with path tracing enabled [5076545]
  • Battlefield 2042: random square artifacts may appear around lights during gameplay [5284105]
  • World of Warcraft: displays artifacts when ray tracing is enabled [5273429]
  • Counter-Strike 2: Text may appear slightly distorted when in-game resolution is lower than the native resolution of the display [5278913]

The GeForce Game Ready 576.88 WHQL driver is now available to download from NVIDIA’s website and NVIDIA App.
