NVIDIA Drops Price of GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition to €1819

Looks like AMD’s recent launch of their high-end Radeon RX 7900 XTX is eating in to Nvidia’s GPU market share. Good to see show price drop … but still, it will cost you a whopping €1819!

Taken from Videocardz … We have been notified by Cowcotland that they noticed a lower price on RTX 4090 Founders Edition (NVIDIA own model) on the official company website. Instead of the €1859 which was the price for this card for many weeks, this model is now listed at €1819. That’s indeed a small change, yet still going into a right direction.

What should be noted, however, is that he RTX 4090 FE was first listed at €1949 in the European Union. This means that we are already now looking at 7% or €140 lower price since launch.

Current pricing of NVIDIA RTX 40 desktop GPUs:

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition: €1959 → €1819 (-7%)
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition: €1469 → €1399 (-5%)
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Custom: €1469 → €1229 (-16%)
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Custom: €899 → €875 (-3%)

The pricing of RTX 40 desktop GPUs in Europe has not changed much since its launch, however all three models can now be found under MSRP (suggested retail price). The RTX 4080 FE is now listed for only €1399, so a shy 5% discount is already implemented, but more importantly, custom RTX 4080 cards can already be found for as low as €1229, so 16% cheaper than MSRP.
