Retailers Won’t Sell Standalone GeForce RTX 3080

We’re starting to see custom GeForce RTX 3080 cards available on the market, from the like of Asus, Gigabyte, Galax and Inno3D. However, retailers have heavily marked-up their prices, costing average of between USD $950 – $1,050!

What’s even more annoying … is that local computer retailers across Asia, especially in Hong Kong took advantage of the GeForce RTX 3080 shortage, and told customers that they can’t buy a standalone GeForce RTX 3080 on its own. If you want one … you’ll have to buy a complete PC system with the graphics card!

So far, standalone GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card have reached a eye-popping USD $1,300+ on eBay and elsewhere.

If you really want one … I suggest you wait just a little bit longer. Apparently, rumors has it … that Gigabyte plans to release a 20GB version the RTX 3080 real soon.
