Installation
For our PC build, we mounted the MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 AIO cooler on the top of the chassis. It fitted nicely with no issues at all. One nice feature I really like is the front EZ Bracket. It allows for easy adjustments to support different fan sizes. You can mount either 2 x 160mm , 3 x 140mm or 3 x 120mm fans.
For the motherboard, we used the MSI MAG Z890 TOMAHAWK WiFi, which is a full size ATX motherboard. Installation was simple and there was enough room inside the chassis for connecting the PCIE and ATX power cables.
For extra cooling, we proceeded with mounting 3 extra MSI MPG F120 ARGB fans on the side of the chassis.The quick snap-and-lock PSU cover is great, as it allows you to hide and manage your power cables with ease.
And lastly, we installed the MSI GeForce RTX 5080 Vanguard SOC Launch Edition, which is supported by the adjustable GPU holder included with the chassis.
Word of advice. During any PC build, we recommend you remove the tempered glass side panel completely. The last thing you want is to have your tempered glass cracked or scratched during installation.
The Finished Item
Since the MSI MPG VELOX 300R AIRFLOW PZ chassis only has one glass panel, it doesn’t offer a panoramic view. However having said that, the case does offers plenty of airflow and you can install a load of extra cooling fans in various configurations, depending on your needs.
The 2 pre-installed 160mm ARGB fans with DUAL LAYER BLADE design and 3 manual fan speed controls, offer gorgeous RGB lighting that really make the chassis stand out.
As you can see from our finishd PC build above, the PSU is located at the bottom of the chassis covered by the PSU cover. Some users may not like this look. For me, I’m OK with it, as long as it doesn’t obstruct airflow or make the system look unsightly due to excess the power cables.
All-in-all, I’m more than pleased with how the PC build turn out.
