Zotac ZBox Blu-Ray Mini PC (HD-ID34BR) Review

The BIOS

Ah yes, the BIOS … a place where you can change or adjust system settings. You can check how much ram is currently installed, the size of your hard drive and the speed of your ATOM processor. And just like any BIOS you’ll find on a normal PC, you can select the boot sequence of your choice.

The Guts

Looking at the internal components of the Zbox Blu-Ray HD-ID34BR, you’ll find a 250Gb 2.5″ inch hard drive, 2 SODIMM slots (1 occupied with 2Gb of DDR2 ram), and a miniature fan covering what seem to the ATOM processor. The heatsink for the processor isn’t visible … but I’m sure Zotac has included it somewhere inside. There are also 2 mini-PCI Express slots (one occupied by the WiFi module).
