CRYORIG H7 CPU Cooler Review

Today I be will reviewing the H7 CPU Cooler brought to us by Cryorig. The CRYORIG H7 has compact compatibility written in it’s design. Only 145mm in height the H7 is one of the smallest 120mm fan class tower heatsinks on the market. The H7 will fit in almost all mid-tower PC chassis. The H7 can deliver much needed tower grade cooling performance in tight spaces. When I received the H7 from Cryorig I had to do a little research because I had not heard much about the company. Cryorig is fairly new to the masses launching the Cryorig brand in 2013. I started to gain excitement after reading a couple of reviews of some of their other products. I kept reading how fantastic the CPU cooling products performed. If you are new or old to DIY computer world I encourage you to look into Cryorig. I can not wait any longer to see the results of the Cryorig H7 so lets began this review already!

The CRYORIG H Series coolers feature our proprietary Hive Fin structure. This design allows for a combination of Jet Fin Acceleration and Turbulence Reduction, as well as strengthening structural strength of the fin stacks. Combined together, the Hive Fin design brings cool innovation.

I find the Hive Fin design intriguing. When you delve deeper into the theory behind the physics and jet fin acceleration technology, you ask yourself does this stuff really play that big of a role in keeping my CPU cool? Well those questions are answered later in this review.

I would like to thank Cryorig for providing the review sample. This is what Cryorig has to say about themselves on their website:

CRYORIG was officially founded in 2013, but took several years in the making. We began our journey right at the start of the first decade of the 2000’s. During what was the most prosperous age of PC DIY and Overclocking. Members of our team have either worked directly or indirectly with brands such as Thermalright, Prolimatech, Phanteks and many more. We ourselves are overclockers and PC modding enthusiasts, with a passion and drive to strive for improvement. With direct knowledge of manufacturing and design as well as holding multiple patents under our collective belt, we decided to make a name for ourselves, and that name is CRYORIG. So what is CRYORIG exactly? CRYORIG is about making the coolest rig possible.

Unsatisfied with what was available on the market at the time, we decided to start a something new something bigger. At CRYORIG, we don’t make products that are just good enough to fulfill a purpose, we go all out. We start on a journey to design the best performing, highest quality and coolest looking product that we can. Something that we ourselves want, and something that we are confident in delivering to our supporters. When buying a CRYORIG product feel assured that you are getting the best of all worlds.

The PC Modding and Overclocking community has always been a tight knit sub-culture within the technology world. In our community we share information and knowledge regarding the latest overclocking tips or memory timings so our community as a whole can continue to grow regardless of our fall from mainstream. We try hard to preserve our hobbies and to sometimes pass on the passion we have for PC’s. This is why also I created CRYORIG. For the majority of my professional life, I have been building heatsinks and peripherals for other brands. Me and my brother David have invented and patented multiple manufacturing processes regarding how to make a better heatsink and cooler. We ourselves have never stopped in this journey of improvement, and over a period of 5 years we have been pouring all our knowledge and know how into one prototype product, the R1. But the R1 was still rough around the edges and was far from read. Over the years we began contacting other like minded professionals in the field, and with some luck and help, in the beginning of 2013 we finally had our all star team together. So CYRORIG may have been first registered only in 2013, but for us it was years and years in the making. This is why CRYORIG as a whole wants to thank you the consumer, the enthusiast, the overclocker, the PC builder for keeping this wonderful community of ours very much alive. Also, just by visiting our page, you’re giving us a chance to give back to the community we love. And help us in making CRYORIG the coolest rigs on the planet.

Now let us see what this CPU cooler is all about!
