Essencore KLEVV BOLT V 32GB DDR5-6800 CL34 Memory Kit Review

Package and its Contents

KLEVV BOLT V memory arrived in a retail package, a mix of cardboard and transparent blister protection for memory modules. We could say it’s a standard package known from lower series RAM, but it protects the contents well.

The package is well described, with all the features and main specifications. There is also information about support and various safety certificates. There is no additional manual, but it’s not required, as the installation is straightforward, and every motherboard has an installation guide.

Inside the box, we will find two 16GB memory modules rated at DDR5-6800 CL34-40-40 1.35V. These specifications are less popular as not all brands offer 6800MT/s memory kits, and even fewer have CL34 1.35V kits at this frequency. It’s good to be different as it gives a chance to fill the holes in the competition offer.

The modules are 34mm tall, so they should fit under all CPU coolers. However, most cooler brands have already corrected their products, and nearly every CPU cooler works with tall memory modules. As long as a low profile is an advantage, then it’s not so important nowadays.

The heatsinks have a minimalistic design, and they look good, but I have a feeling that something is missing. There is no RGB illumination, but the finish of the top could be better. It’s a simple bent aluminum. I guess I’m spoiled with a variety of designs and exceptionally looking higher KLEVV series. You can see how the BOLT V memory looks in the attached photos. Even though it doesn’t have RGB illumination, it still presents well on a test rig in various colors.

On the next page of this review, we will take a closer look at the performance.
