Essencore KLEVV CRAS XR5 RGB 32GB DDR5-6200 CL40 Memory Kit Review

Package and its Contents

KLEVV CRAS XR5 memory arrived in a retail package that is about the size of the typical flat box of most other brands. The package is well described with all the features and main specifications. There is also info about support and various safety certificates. There is no additional manual, but it’s not required as the installation is straightforward, and every motherboard has an installation guide.

Inside the box, we will find two 16GB memory modules rated at DDR5-6200 CL40-42-42 1.30V. This isn’t the highest specification of the KLEVV CRAS XR5 DDR5 series right now, but I’m sure we will see higher versions in the future.

The modules are a bit taller than standard, and we can install them with the most available CPU coolers, even the largest.

KLEVV didn’t lie in the product’s specifications. Heatsinks work well and keep modules cool even after overclocking. At the standard voltages, we could see close to 60°C after two hours of stability test without additional airflow. During overclocking at 1.45V, it was around 65°C. Some competitive memory kits have problems with that, so it’s always worth mentioning.
The heatsinks are not only keeping the memory cool, but they also look fantastic. CRAS XR5 catches the eye with its minimalistic but high-end-looking design. We have so many various memory kits, but I love this design like not many others. It looks even better in reality than in photos.

The RGB illumination works well with all popular motherboard brands. There is no dedicated software, but it’s not required. If we have any problem finding the software, then on the KLEVV website is a list with download links to every popular motherboard brand. In the below photos, you can see how exceptional the memory kit looks during work.
