TeamGroup T-Force T1 Gaming Series DDR4-2666 16GB Memory Kit Review

The packaging is pretty much what I expected for low-cost memory, although, it is eye-catching with the red and black color scheme. The clear packaging allows the potential customer to see exactly what they are purchasing. The memory speed and timings are readily visible and one can even get up-close and personal to see all of the finer details regarding the design, but more on that later.

A Closer Look

Speaking of the unique design, at first glance, one might mistake the custom printing for heat spreaders. This is actually the work of printing upon the memory module PCB. It looks great! This is definitely a welcome change over the bland look of the regular green PCB from yesteryear. The memory chips used in this kit are SK Hynix and are rated to run at DDR4-2666 with memory timings of 18-18-18-43 at a low voltage of 1.2V.
