ASRock Phantom Gaming B650E PG-ITX WiFi Motherboard Review

Performance – Part 2

Network performance

It’s hard to read that from our screenshots, but the WiFi works up to its maximum bandwidth. Typical bandwidth tests in a crowded environment show it goes above 1000Mbps often.

Results are not far from each other in multiple tests.

3D performance and games

3D tests were performed on the RTX4080 graphics card from Colorful, which is one of the fastest graphics cards on the current market. All results in 3D tests and games are exceptional and should satisfy even the most demanding gamers.

Above are our results in the Final Fantasy XV Benchmark…

Below is a Superposition benchmark result at high display resolutions of 4K and 8K and textures set to high. Once again, the results are about as high as expected.

In the end, FarCry 6, F1 2022, and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla at 2560×1440 display resolution and Tomb Raider at 1920×1080. All these games react well to CPU performance, less to RAM.

Our results in games are about as high as on other B650E and X670E motherboards, while the differences are at the edge of the error margin. ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi performs well in all tests that we used, so I’m sure anyone who decides on this motherboard will be satisfied. It even looks better as the motherboard is in ITX form factor and loses nothing to a much larger ATX.

There are always those users who will fight for every FPS, so let’s take a look at our overclocking results on the next page of this review.
