Verdict and Conclusion
We’ve already seen what the X570 Creator motherboard can do, even with a Ryzen 7 3700X (AM4) processor. As I mentioned earlier, for a content creator nothing is more important than having a system, capable of reducing the amount of time, in rendering a hi-resolution video scenes or 3D animation. With the ASRock TRX40 Creator motherboard powered by AMD’s 3rd Gen Ryzen Threadripper 3960X processor, your productivity will increase for sure. This of course, is all thanks to the processor’s 24 cores/48 threads, running DDR4 memory in quad channel mode, along with the support of PCIE 4 Gen4x4 SSDs, and the Aquantia 10G LAN giving you a significant increase in read/writes speeds for both memory and storage, all of which is important when editing large RAW files.
During our benchmarks, we got some impressive scores including a Cinebench score of 5,854, and it completes our HyperPI (32M) test in 12 minutes and 53 seconds. In PCMark 10 we got a score of 7,183, while the Passmark9 score was at a respectable 7,348, and it took only 8 minutes and 17.13 secs to complete the Blender Splash279 screen. For Port Royal, we got a score of 6,632 with a DLSS score of 44.48 fps. And finally, for 3DMark Timespy and Firestrike, we got scores of 11,558 and 22,782 respectively.
