Colorful CVN B460M Gaming Pro V20 Motherboard Review

Performance – part 2

Storage performance

M.2 performance is perfectly fine for the PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD. We can reach about 3.4GB/s sequential read, so not far from the best results. Random bandwidth could be better, but it’s also fine.

USB performance

The motherboard supports USB 3.2 Gen1 what means it’s the same as USB 3.0, so we will be limited to about 500MB/s on the fastest devices. Our Patriot PXD 1TB SSD was able to reach 467MB/s what isn’t the best but again perfectly fine for the port specification.

Network performance

The Realtek 1Gbit LAN is offering us up to about 800Mbps in a local network. Because of additional connections, we won’t be able to reach its maximum bandwidth, but it’s about the same result as we could reach on Realtek Dragon or Intel i225 LAN. The connection is stable with low access time, which is the most important.

Let’s move to some 3D benchmarks and games.
