Adata XPG SX8200 240GB M.2 SDD (NVMe 1.3) Review

Verdict and Conclusion

Wow, in all my years of testing I’ve never seen anything so fast … especially for under $80! The ADATA XPG SX8200 SSD is seriously fast. During the CrystalDiskMark tests, we got a score of 3025 MB/s read and 1158 MB/s write. For Anvil Storage utilities, we got an eye-popping IOPS score of 150,012.09 for read, and a whopping 232,907.23 for write.

The ADATA XPG SX8200 SSD is the perfect boot drive for running Windows 10, combining speed and responsiveness at a price that’s unbelievably affordable. You also get a 5-Year Warranty on the SSD too!

What I also like about the ADATA XPG SX8200 SSD is the included heatspreader which has a nice XPG design and adds great value to the whole package. Other technical benefits include the SLC Caching and DRAM cache buffer, as well as the use of Micron 64-layer 3D NAND flash memory.

All in all, I’m very please with both the performance and price of the ADATA XPG SX8200 SSD.

Uunintentionally, a newer and even faster, but pricier model Adata XPG SX8200 Pro, has just been released and will replace this current model. So sadly availability will be limited … if you can find one, go buy it NOW!

Buy the ADATA XPG SX8200 SSD for around USD $78 at Amazon –

Final Thoughts

If you want a super fast boot drive at an amazingly affordable price, then take a serious look at the ADATA XPG SX8200 SSD. You won’t find anything that will beat it … especially under $80!
