Kingston NV3 2TB NVMe M.2 2230 PCIe 4.0 SSD Review

Product Photos and a Closer Look

The NV3’s package is a small cardboard with a blister window on the front, showing the SSD inside.
We won’t find much inside the package. There is only an SSD, but that’s about everything we may need to start using the NV3.

Kingston offers Acronis cloning software with all SSDs. It’s a handy tool that may save us the long hours required for software reinstallation. The installation guide is under the link—click.

The NV3 features a dark blue PCB and a white label with product numbers printed on it. On the back are various certificates and safety logos. Since the SSD is tiny, there isn’t much space for more info. Even on larger SSDs, this is about everything we will find.

The SSD doesn’t require a heatsink and is designed for mobile devices. Its standard size and thickness allow it to be installed in every popular laptop or gaming console. If we have an adapter, we can also install it on desktop motherboards or other devices that support larger M.2 SSD standards, including PS5 consoles.

On the next page, we will examine the test results closely.
