The SSD supports various technologies to improve stability, data protection, and performance. Our results confirm that the SSD is well-designed, and there should be no issues during prolonged use.
The GM6 utilizes the Maxio MAP1602A controller and features four rebranded 3D QLC NAND chips. All NAND is installed on one side of the PCB, so even though the SSD has a total capacity of 4 TB, it can be installed in thin laptops that support only single-sided M.2 SSDs.

The 4TB version of the GM6 SSD has a 5-year warranty or 2PBW. In a typical home or office environment, it should work without issues for at least ten years. However, if we have any important data, we must never forget to make backups.

The screenshot above is from the CrystalDiskInfo diagnostic software, and it confirms that the SSD is in perfect condition.

Now, let’s look at the package and the SSD itself.
