Package and its Contents
The package of the tested GM6 Heatsink has been refreshed. It’s about the same size as those of previously tested Predator SSDs, but the graphics design used is different. It still includes a product description, general specifications, and all other necessary information.
Besides the SSD, the box contains a quick start guide and a single screw, which can be handy if we are missing them from our motherboard or laptop.
Like all new Predator SSDs, the GM6 features a digital version of Acronis software, which helps transfer old data and the operating system to a new SSD.
The GM6 SSD appears similar in every capacity and also shares the most popular M.2 2280 standard, so it fits every popular PC or PS5 console. Due to its single-sided design, it also fits tight laptops.
The SSD is also equipped with a graphene thermal pad/sticker. It’s 0.5mm thick, allowing it to be used with any computer or existing motherboard heatsinks.
We have tested the GM6 on the AMD mini PC with a Ryzen 7 255H processor. It’s equipped with PCIe 4.0 x4 sockets and doesn’t limit the tested SSD.
On the next page, we will examine the test results closely.
