Package and its Contents
The package includes only the US75 2TB SSD; everything else is printed on the package and its internal side. The package is made of cardboard and a transparent blister which protects the SSD from moisture and mechanical damage. On the exterior, we will find general specifications, additional features, and contact support.
The US75 is designed for desktop computers, so it requires nothing else. The installation itself is straightforward, so that everyone can handle it.
The only real requirement for optimal performance is an M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 socket. Every modern motherboard is equipped with at least one of those. In the best case, we may find even five M.2 PCIe 4.0/5.0 sockets, and if we want, we can set up a multi-SSD RAID array.
The US75 design makes it a perfect option for small computers and laptops. It keeps low temperatures, and we won’t ever see a thermal throttling effect.
Below are photos of the US75 SSD installed on the Gigabyte X870E AORUS Pro ICE, which will be used for tests.
We will show you how the US75 SSD performs on the next page of this review.
