Diamond Multimedia’s R9 380 Graphics Card Review

Installation and Performance

In this section I will be showing a video explaining the Installation process along with the performance level of the R9 380 compared to the R9 285x. Below the video will be some tables showing the test results for each video card. I also listed the test set-up for both cards in the table below. The software used during testing was 3D Mark and Unigine Heaven, while using Afterburner from MSI allowed me to overclock both video cards. Here are some spoiler alerts with the testing results. The R9 380 from Diamond Multimedia stock score was almost as good as the overclock score of the 285x, while also staying much cooler. I never once had the temperature of the 380 over 60 degrees, even while testing a cooler on prime. In the video, I did not mention much about gaming since each card was so comparable with the FPS. The 380 was only a couple more frames at any giving time.  Well the rest of the information about the installation and testing procedures is in the video and tables below.
