Alphacool Eisblock HDX-2 M.2 SSD Cooler Review

Conclusion and Verdict

Alphacool HDX-2 is for sure great product which is quite simple but really handy. It helps to run NVMe SSD above DMI limits. We can use M.2 SSD in PCIE slot when we don’t have M.2 socket on the motherboard. It also reduces heat of the SSD. Finally it looks professional and should match every PC if we are into modding.

On the market is also HDX-3 cooler which we can connect to water cooling loop and you can expect new products in not far future but I can’t say much about it yet.

The Eisblock HDX-2 costs 38.98 in www.aquatuning.de online store. This price includes VAT so in some countries you can get it cheaper. It doesn’t change fact that price is quite good for what we get.

Final words:

Alphacool HDX-2 is interesting device which helps to improve NVMe SSD performance and stability. It’s also inexpensive what for sure matters if we wish to use more than one of these devices.

The HDX-2 is the easy way to unlock additional power of your M.2 NVMe drive.
