ADATA XPG SX7000 M.2 PCIE Gen3x4 256GB SSD Review

A Closer Look

This thing is tiny! It’s literally the same size as a stick of memory. It’s unbelievable how fast SSD/NVMe technology have changed over the past few years.

On one side of the SSD, you’ll find a nice red XPG heatspeader. While the other side is the bare PCB with some of the NAND flash memory.

Installation

Installation was super simple. You can’t go wrong … there’s only one way to fit the SSD on the M.2 connector of the motherboard. Just make sure you tighten the retention screw which holds the SSD in place.
