Verdict and Conclusion
Believe it or not, in all my years as a professional techie, I’ve never actually owned a 4K monitor. For the past few years, I’ve been using 27″ 1440p monitors for all my reviews and testing, which at the time was more than adequate . However, since I’ve been doing a lot of video work lately, I think it’s about time to upgrade my monitors from 1440p to 4K. Why 4K? Well, with a bigger monitor and more screen area, I should able to increase my productivity and do a lot more work, especially with video editing.
Now I’ve tried and tested 27″ 4K monitors in the past, but I find them a little too small especially at 4K resolution. For 4K, a better choice would be a monitor with a screen size of 32″ for higher.
Out of curiosity I turned to ASRock, and asked them if they had any of their new 4K monitors (the same ones I saw at Computex 2025). And to my surprise, they sent us their latest PGO32UFS 4K OLED Gaming Monitor. So let’s find out if it’s any good …
As far specs goes … you get 31.5″ WOLED panel with a maximum resolution of 3840×210 (4K), a super low response time of 0.03ms (GTG), and a max refresh rate of 240Hz. It also comes with Flicker Free and Low Blue Light Technology, as well as supporting AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Delta E<2 Color Accuracy and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.
The OLED technology really makes a difference over IPS or VA panels. You get exceptional visual quality with true blacks, vibrant colors, and exceptional contrast. It’s perfect for gaming, content creation, and entertainment.
The monitor comes with 1 x DisplayPort 1.4 ports, 2 x HDMI 2.0 ports, 2 x 2W speakers and a 3.5mm output jack. If you want to run the monitor at the full 240Hz refresh rate, we highly recommend you use some high quality DisplayPort cables that can support v1.4 for higher (or HDMI 2.1 cables).
Furthermore, the Dual Display Mode allows you to seamlessly switch between 240Hz @4K and 480Hz @1080p. While the Pixel Clean function prevents monitor burn-in by running automatically after 4 hours of use.
What I like about this monitor is that it comes with a ton of connectivity, which includes 3 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-B, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C (DP Alt Mode / PD 65W), 1 x USB port for firmware update and 1 x Headphone Out jack. Also included is a handy KVM switch, integrated Wi-Fi Antenna, and a special Phantom Gaming cable sleeve.
After using the monitor for several days, I’m extremely pleased with the overall visual quality, smoothness and dynamic performance of the ASRock PGO32UFS 32-inch 4K gaming monitor. Images were sharp, and the colors were vibrant with deep blacks. With all these great features, a similar 4K monitor will cost you well above $1,000+.
You can buy the ASRock PGO32UFS 32-inch 4K Gaming Monitor for around USD $899 from Newegg – https://tinyurl.com/2a8xzju2

It comes with a gorgeous 31.5″ WOLED edge-to-edge display, with a resolution of 3840×2160, a super fast refresh rate of 240hz, and a response time of only 0.03ms (GTG).
