Raidmax Narwhal 920 Chassis Review

Packaging and Contents

The 920 was wrapped just as tightly in saran wrap as the Viper GX II. Therefore, I had to be very careful while cutting the wrap away from the box. Raidmax’s Narwhal logo is the only thing shown on the top. On the front we have an angled over the top view of the Narwhal 920. Below the picture is the brand name, Narwhal, written in bold letters. Hexagons, blue in color, gives the sense of water for the Narwhal swimming towards the right side of the tower. Residing in the top left corner is Raidmax’s logo and web address.

The back has an overview picture of the tower with the same blue hexagons surrounding the 920. Riadmax’s logo resides in the top right corner, while the bottom left are diagrams of the 920 showing features. Much like the Viper GX II, both sides are the exact same. Only difference is that the left side has shipping and handling requirements, while the right side shows a barcode. Each side has the Raidmax logo at the top with the specifications is shown towards the bottom. An angled view of the tower resides right in between the two.

Also like the Viper GX II,  the 920 is surrounded in a woven bag and sits between a Styrofoam casing. Each had done its job protecting the 920. I really liked how the Narwhal 920 was packed nice and tight. Inside the Narwhal 920 is where you find the contents box. Included in the box are three sets of 3.5 HDD drive rails, three sets of three different size Velcro ties, the user manual, and various screws to install the 920.

Lets get a closer look of the 920 itself!
