Spire X2.6018 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Verdict and Conclusion

Spire X2 did a good job with their  X2.6018. It’s an awesome mid-tower case for the price range, but I would have no problem to pay 15 euro more for some intake and exhaust fans, the case really lacks that.

But it X2 makes some of that up with the tool-less installation options for mounting the PCIe expansion cards, 3.5″ hard drives and 5.25″ drives like optical drives, fancontrolers or something else. I do like the cable management options of the case and certainly for such a cheap case.

The case has a lot of Pros:

  • Cable management holes
  • Internal USB 3.0 motherboard plug
  • Easy side panel removal
  • Tool-less installation
  • CPU cutout

But it has Cons too:

  • I really wanted to see minimum an intake and an exhaust fan.
  • Fancontroler feels a bit cheap
  • No way to install 2.5″ drives without adapter

Final words:

For a price of $63.99 USD or 47.95 EUR you really get an awesome mid-tower case with a lot of options and easy features. It has space enough to house all your standard hardware, but if you want to install 2 super big High-end GPU’s and want to install a custom watercooling instalation then you better chose a bigger case. But like a said for the normal user its big enough to house all you need.
