Thermaltake TH360 V2 Ultra ARGB Sync AIO Liquid Cooler – Snow Edition Review

Conclusion and Verdict

I’ve been after an all-white AIO cooler for my PC project build for quite some time. Specifically an all-white 360 AIO cooler with a LCD display and ARGB cooling fans that don’t require a controller. And guess what … I found one! Actually Thermaltake sent us one … the TH360 V2 Ultra ARGB Sync AIO Liquid Cooler – Snow Edition.

One of the most attractive selling point of this AIO, is the fact that the included CT120 ARGB cooling fans don’t require any type of controller, plus you can daisy-chain them together. Just plug the 3-pin ARGB cable and the 4-pin PWM cable straight in to the motherboard and away you go!

During our tests, we used an Intel Core i9-14900K processor which has a default TDP of 125W. Idle temperatures was around 34 degrees Celsius. However, at 100% full load with Turbo Boost on (TDP of 253W), the temperatures reached a high of between 99-101 degrees Celsius. It’s not ideal, but the AIO cooler along with the CT120 ARGB fans seem to be handling it OK.

The 2.1-inch LCD display is gorgeous to look at, and it’s something I always wanted in my AIO. Using the downloadable TT RGB Plus 2.0 software, you can monitor CPU and memory frequency, temperatures, memory speed, as well as CPU/GPU/Memory load, as well as upload animated GIFs or photos for that extra personalization.

A couple of things to be aware of. Firstly, since the 3 x CT120 ARGB fans can be daisy-chained, the length of the integrated cable may be a little too short. But don’t stress … Thermaltake fixed this by including extension cables for both the 3-pin ARGB and the 4-pin PWM fan.

The other thing is the 2.1-inch LCD display. It’s in a fixed position and can’t be rotated physically, which I find a little annoying. This means you can only mount the waterblock one way due, becasue the micro-USB port powering up the LCD needs to be facing upwards. Having said that, you can rotate the display via the TT RGB Sync software which you can download from their website.

Apart from that, the overall cooling performance of the AIO is good, and the all-white aesthetics is just stunningly attractive.

Final thoughts:

The Thermaltake TH360 V2 Ultra ARGB Sync AIO Liquid Cooler – Snow Edition looks absolutely amazing with its all-white design, plus it offers more than adequate cooling performance for the latest desktop processors. It also includes 3 x CT120 ARGB controllerless fans, and a large 2.1-inch LCD screen to help you monitor your system’s health, display animated GIFs or photos for that extra personalization. It’s perfect for anyone who’s after a decent 360 AIO cooler for their white-themed PC builds.
