Ballistix Tactical Tracer 32GB DDR4-2666 RGB LED Memory Kit Review

Closer Look / Product Photos

The Ballistix Tactical Tracer arrived in a plastic, transparent box. It looks quite interesting and also shows the high quality of the product. Inside we can find well-protected memory modules and on the external part of the package we will find everything that needs to know typical user so general memory description, serial and product numbers, contact to support and a couple of other things which are not really interesting for most users but still have to be on the package like safety certificates.

The most important is inside the box. We are focusing on the 32GB memory kit, even though some tests were performed using two memory kits like on the photos.

All memory modules have the 8GB capacity and are single rank what means that memory chips are on one side of the PCB. It also means a couple of other things but this is less important right now and shouldn’t affect user’s experience.

Even without LEDs, this memory looks great. RGB lighting is adding something special.

We were waiting for a long time on the Ballistix Tracer DDR4 and I think it was worth it. There is no other memory on the market which combines great lighting with advanced LED configuration and doesn’t cause any issues.
