Patriot Viper 4 32GB DDR4-3733 Memory Kit Review

Conclusion and Verdict

At first I wasn’t sure if Patriot Viper 4 DDR4-3733 will work on my motherboards without issues as it was not designed for them but there were no issues. I wasn’t sure if XMP profile will work but there were also no issues. I wasn’t sure if I will be able to overclock this memory in quad channel as DDR4-3733 is already high frequency but also with that I had no problems.

Patriot Viper 4 DDR4-3733 memory is simply exceptional memory which surprised me couple of times and it let me to set frequency which wasn’t available on other memory kits and I was testing many memory kits from competitive brands.

The Viper 4 memory looks interesting even though is not as flashy as some other memory kits on the market. If you wish memory with LEDs then Patriot just released Viper LED series which should meet your esthetic requirements. However all those who are looking for high frequency and stable memory kit should be satisfied with that Patriot Viper 4 has to offer.

Dual channel 2x8GB DDR4-3733 kit costs about $230 on Amazon so to use it as quad channel kit you have to buy two of these kits what will cost nearly $460. Considering already high memory prices it’s quite good deal.
