The mouse features a honey-comb casing and is super light-weight, weighing in at only 69g. The mouse is comfortable to hold in the hand, and the buttons are easily accessible.
The specifications says there are 7 programmable buttons on the mouse, but on closer inspection I can only find 6 buttons. The RGB lighting can be adjusted via the downloadable software from Yeyian.
You can also adjust the DPI settings, create profiles, program your macros, as well as selecting the polling rate.
Verdict and Conclusion
Why spend a fortune on a gaming mouse when you can get one for only USD $39.99. The Yeyian Link Series 3000 Gaming Mouse has eveything a gamer needs at a fraction of the cost of a big name brand.
The optical sensor (Laser Pixart PAW 3212DM) offers a resolution of up to 7,200 dpi. It’s responsive and more than adeqaute for most users, although I would have preferred a higher DPI.
The RGB lighting is bright and eye-catching, but for the price don’t expect it to sync with your motherboard’s RGB eco-system. The downloadable software allows you to adjust the DPI settings, create profiles, program your buttons and macros, as well as selecting the polling rate.
I have to emphasize, this mouse is really marketed at the budget gamer. If you want a professional gaming mouse with even more advanced features, then I sugguest you look elsewhere.
