The Z390 Phantom Gaming 7 Motherboard

The ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 7 feature new and unique flexible integrated I/O shield which means easier installation when mounting the motherboard to the chassis,

The whole motherboard has a nice gun-metal grey and red design. As you can see in the above photos, the Z390 Phantom Gaming 7 is packed with a lot of rich features, some available only on ASRock motherboards.

 

A Closer Look

Just look at the photos below. There are a ton of features including 8 x SATA ports, 3 x PCIE x16 slots, 2 x Ultra M.2 slots for SSDs (with 2 full coverage heatsink). Also, notice the onboard power-on and reset buttons, along with the diagnostic LEDs as well as the 4-pin RGB headers.  

Starting from the left, you have a PS/2 keyboard and mouse port, USB 3.0, DisplayPort, HDMI, USB 3.2, both Type-A and Type-C Thunderbolt 3). The red LAN port is the Realtek 2.5GB/s ethernet, while the other one is Intel’s gigabit ethernet LAN ports. And finally, there’s the usual array of connectors for 7.1 HD audio.

There’s no onboard wifi and no clear CMOS button.
