Asus ROG Strix B360-F Gaming Motherboard Review

Verdict and Conclusion

Overall the Asus ROG Strix B360-F Gaming motherboard is pretty good all-rounder. We finally have an affordable Intel chipset based motherboard, that’s compatible with all the latest 8th Gen Coffee Lake processors from Intel. If you’re a mainstream user or just casual gamer, then there’s no reason not to take a look at the Asus ROG Strix B360-F Gaming motherboard.

As you can see from benchmarks, the performance from the B360 chipset, is a little lower than the higher-end Z370. This is what we anticipated and falls in line with our expectations.  You may call the B360 a “slimmed-down” version of their higher-end chipset with no RAID support. But still, the B360 chipset support a maximum of 12 x PCIE 3.0 lanes, dual channel DDR4-2666 memory support, as well as AMD 2-Way CrossFireX Technology.

What the Asus ROG Strix B360-F lacks in performance, it certainly makes up for it in terms of features and extras. Take for example the pre-mounted I/O shield with RGB, Asus Aura Sync, dual M.2 slots, Intel Gigabit LAN, ROG SupremeFX 8-Channel audio, Safe Slot for PCI-E x16, Fan Xpert4 , 3 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 (Type-A and Type-C) and much much more.

So how much are you willing to pay for a feature-packed mainstream gaming motherboard like the Asus ROG Strix B360-F? Well, how does USD $130 sound? Seriously, I’m not joking. You can pick up the Asus ROG Strix B360-F Gaming motherboard for around USD $130 from Amazon –
