SteelSeries Siberia 200 Gaming Headset Review

Performance

The Siberia line is known for being the most comfortable PC gaming headsets – unmatched by any other gaming peripherals brand. For years, gamers everywhere have been choosing Siberia, from neighborhood LANs to some of the largest eSports tournaments. The Siberia 200’s improved headband evenly spreads the weight of the headset over the entire band, unlike competitive headsets that tend to focus a majority of the weight on a single point. The soft protein-leather earcups on the 200 provide a breathable and comfortable over-ear fit, no matter how intense your gaming gets.

The SteelSeries Siberia 200 Gaming Headset are just as comfortable as any other SteelSeries headset I have ever worn thanks to the iconic suspension support. the Siberia 200 feels weightless when wearing. My head did not suffer any blood flow repercussions when I removed the headset after using. You understand what I mean when you use a headset that clamps on your ears and head so hard that when you take the headset off you let out a big sigh so you do not pass out from the blood rushing back! SteelSeries nailed the design on comfort. The Siberia 200 is a pleasure to wear for long periods of time.

Now for the sound. When you are in the position to have to use headphones; the first thing you mum over is the sound sacrificed compared to a full surround system. Well SteelSeries took that fulfilling sound and packed it all 1/4 inch from your ear. The SteelSeries Siberia 200 Gaming Headset sound is good. The bass can become a little distorted at full blast. I did that high of a volume test just to see because you would be crazy to have these speakers turned up that loud for long periods of time. This headset is not USB so you limited to the capabilities of your sound card or onboard sound to tweaking these speakers. SteelSeries does have an awesome setup for tuning headphones that are USB. With all this being said the Siberia 200 pack a nice punch when it come to sound.

The microphone performed well and had zero complaints on the other end from everyone I had the chance to chat with while using the 200.

There we have it! The Siberia 200 Gaming Headset brought to us by SteelSeries! Let us cover a few final thoughts and conclusion of our review.
