Today, we will be taking a look at the ASRock Radeon RX 7600 Phantom Gaming 8GB OC graphics card.

This graphics card is powered by a AMD Radeon RX 7600 GPU featuring 32 AMD RDNA3 Compute Units and 2048 stream processors.

It comes with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM on a 128-Bit Memory Bus with a memory speed of 18Gps. Thanks to an overclocked GPU, the Boost Clock now runs at 2,755 MHz (default is 2655 MHz), and boasts a Game Clock of 2,355 MHz (default is 2250 MHz).

It features ASRock’s Phantom Gaming 3X Cooling System for 0dB Silent Cooling, and includes a Stylish Metal Backplate, Striped Axial Fan and an Ultra-fit Heatpipe.

Video outputs include 3 x DisplayPort 2.1 and 1 x HDMI 2.1 port. And course, it comes with ASRock’s Polychrome SYNC for great lighting effects.

The ASRock Radeon RX 7600 is ideal for anyone who’s after a smooth 1080p gaming experience with decent performance and affordability.

I would like to thank ASRock for providing the review sample. This is a snippet from what ASRock has to say about themselves on their website:

ASRock Inc. is established in 2002, specialized in the field of motherboards. ASRock strives to build up its own brand. With the 3C design concept, “Creativity, Consideration, Cost-effectiveness”, the company explores the limit of motherboards manufacturing while paying attention on the eco issue at the same time, developing products with the consideration of eco-friendly concept.

ASRock has been growing fast and become world third largest motherboard brand with headquarter in Taipei, Taiwan and branches in Europe and the USA. The young and vibrant company targets from mainstream to enthusiast MB segments for different kinds of users, owning reputation around the world market with its reliability and proficiency.

Here’s a quick comparison between AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT, RX 7900 XT, RX 7900 XTX and the Radeon RX 7600 (in red).

As I mentioned before, ASRock Radeon RX 7600 Phantom Gaming OC edition uses an factory-overclocked GPU, so it requires extra cooling, and this is provided by their 3X cooling system which should be more than enough.

Since this card is designed for the lower-end/entry-level, I can’t expect too much from it. However having said that, it should be decent enough for a smooth 1080p gaming experience.

We’ll be testing this graphics card using our tested rig, which is comprised of an AMD Rzyen 7 7800X3D and ASRock B650E Taichi Lite motherboard, along with 32GB of DRR5-6200 ram.

Let’s jump straight in and start by taking a look at the specifications of the graphics card on our next page.
