Strip away the RGB elements of a gaming keyboard, many gamers will look for the right tactile feel they prefer, the practicality of features, and fast response times. Today we will be taking a look at the EpicGear DeFiant EG MMS mechanical keyboard to see just why it maybe the dark horse of the gaming keyboard market.
EpicGear is the gaming branch of GEIL (Golden Emperor International Limited) that are more known for the colorful RAM, such as the Evo X DDR4-3000 16Gb dual channel memory kit we reviewed last week. Launched back in April this year, the DeFiant keyboard is designed with swapping out different switches in mind – you can choose from EG Grey, or linear switches, EG Orange, or tactile switches, or the tactile and clicky EG Purple switches.
Thanks to EpicGear for sending me the DeFiant EG MMS mechanical keyboard and the EpicGear box of switches to interchange the keys!
