Cooler Master Masterbox NR200 Chassis Review

We are showing off the Cooler Master NR200 White SFF Mini-ITX Case today. I think the mini-ITX builds are here to stay. I was never one to find these types of build appealing. For one I use my computer for so much more than just gaming or other simple tasks. I would really miss the extra support you get from an ATX motherboard. When you downsize your are obviously going to loose some USB ports or PCIe slots and for me, I need those extra connections. So I was never enticed to go small. I have done quite a few builds and the thought of a putting everything into a smaller area made me cringe. I also am very budget conscience and for the most part all the stuff you need for a SFF build, costs more.

But for today I am going to finally complete a SFF build and give you my opinion on the whole process and see if the NR200 chassis can fit current hardware. One thing you really want in a cramped area is cooling capabilities to be sufficient. As far as the spec go this case seems to be capable of just that, with room for up to seven fans. But will all those fans fit with a large graphics cars? How much of the case can I easy access when installing parts? These are a few of the questions that will get answered during this review. So lets get to it and throw some parts in this thing but before we can get to that, lets cover a few of the perinates of the case. Move on and check out all the features and specs of the case on the next few pages and lets meet back up on the page where we actually put parts in!

The MasterBox NR200 takes all of the features found in a core performance ATX chassis and efficiently utilizes them in a space less than half the volume. Every feature is thoughtfully laid out in the 18-liter case to maximize component compatibility, ease of use, and thermal efficiency. Open ventilation and multiple fan mounts bring airflow where it’s needed, while generous water cooling and air cooling clearances allow the fitment of coolers that can take advantage of all the airflow. Ample clearance for long, triple-slot graphics cards means no sacrifices are needed in GPU power to take advantage of small form factor sizing. The frame is wrapped in a sleek and tasteful steel chassis that blends in perfectly on top of desk.
