ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming ITX/TB3 Motherboard Review

Performance – part 2

PCI-E 4.0 storage performance

Storage performance on the X570 PG TB3/ITX is excellent. I won’t focus on already old SATA III standard as it reaches the maximum of 560MB/s on every new ASRock motherboard, but I will show something new what some readers could actually see in our Patriot Viper VP4100 review, so the performance of M.2 PCI-E 4.0 SSD.

We are able to pass 5000MB/s on the tested Patriot Viper VP4100 SSD what is not the end but clearly maximum bandwidth of the drive. It’s also maximum specified speed so we can confirm that the X570 PF TB3/ITX handles well the fastest available SSD.

Below is a result made in a PCMark 8 storage test. It’s also a great result considering that this is a single SSD.

Let’s move to some 3D benchmarks and games.
