Conclusion
The B760M-Silver is another well-performing Biostar motherboard, which is also inexpensive. For most users, it will provide the best balance between expected results and an affordable price.
As with all Biostar motherboards, the Silver series offers us various DIY options, ARGB/RGB illumination adjustments via UEFI, or easy-to-use software. The software also provides hardware monitoring and overclocking. The motherboard itself doesn’t have any panels with RGB backlight or anything else that could raise the price.
The motherboard supports all LGA1700 processors and most other new devices. Sadly, the B760M-Silver won’t give us the fastest controllers, and we won’t be able to use the fastest RAM. Again, for most users, it won’t make a difference, but if you are a computer enthusiast or overclocker, then you better look at higher models.
The B760M-Silver is supposed to be inexpensive and cheaper than the competitive B760 motherboards. However, on the day of writing this review, I couldn’t find it in any larger online store. I’m sure it will be available soon as the B760A-Silver was also delayed.
Final words:
The Biostar B760M-Silver motherboard provides high performance at a very reasonable price. It’s another decent motherboard from Biostar that’s designed for gamers with lower budgets, and for those who wants good value for their money.
