Project Core Arancio – Full Build Log, Installation & Benchmarks

Final Thoughts

Wow, what an epic journey this has been! We’ve learnt a lot and gained some invaluable experience. I would like to say a big thank you to all our sponsors for making this happen… Thermaltake, ASRock, ADATA, HIS and Crucial.

One of the most difficult part of the build was the wait … waiting for components to arrive. You start your project and half way through the build you realize you are missing something. Then you have to place the order and wait for the items to arrive.

Another good piece of advice … if you have a spare system (or you could use your frend’s PC), then it would be a good idea to test all of the components individually, to make sure they all work before you start your build. What’s worse than completing your project only to find out that the motherboard is DOA or faulty 😐

We hope you enjoyed this build log and we hope you can take with you, some of our ideas and advice. Building your own rig can be fun and exciting. However, remember to plan ahead and make sure you get all the parts before you start your build.
