Crucial Ballistix Tactical 32GB DDR4-3000 Memory Kit Review

Package and its Contents

Crucial Ballistix Tactical memory has arrived as four packages with single memory sticks but you can buy exactly the same in a single package. There is no difference for end user as memory with the same product number has the same specification. In this case there are four exactly the same memory modules which work perfectly fine in quad channel mode on our ASRock motherboard.

Since it’s RAM then you can’t count on much more in the package. There are memory modules and printed product description. Memory modules are easy to install so they’re not requiring any special manual.

Memory itself looks great. Gunmetal grey heatsinks, black PCB and maybe not low profile but still not tall design should match most available motherboards and cooling solutions.

All Crucial memory kits look like high quality products. Regardless if it’s lower or higher series you just don’t have a feeling it’s a toy. Many competitive memory kits designed for gamers look like they’re missing something while Crucial memory is just well designed.

I’m glad to see that Crucial has finally decided to release DDR4-3000 and DDR4-3200 memory kits which are available in Ballistix Elite and Tactical series.
