Conclusion and Verdict
Predator Hermes gives everything that’s advertised. It’s fast, based on the best components, designed for the most demanding gamers, and overclocks great. There were no problems during tests or compatibility issues on a couple of motherboards, proving the memory kit’s high quality.
The RGB illumination was also working as expected. Everything was perfect on ASRock and ASUS motherboards.
I’m glad Predator keeps bringing original ideas and product designs. Predator Hermes is another high-end product that looks fantastic and meets the needs of computer enthusiasts. I can only question the point of the included small fan. I doubt that most users will use it as it’s not required. At least new memory kits at 1.40-1.45V are not overheating.
The only problem can be with the availability of the Predator Hermes DDR5. While writing this review, I found no Predator Hermes DDR5 memory kit in popular online stores. However, it’s expected to cost about as much as competitive memory kits at the same frequency. It shouldn’t last long until we see it on the store shelves.
Final words:
The Hermes RGB 6800MT/s memory kit is yet another excellent product under the Predator brand. It meets the needs of demanding gamers, enthusiasts, and overclockers. These are the groups of users, that are the hardest to satisfy … and these memory kits did it with flying colours!
